It is the Company's policy to recruit the best candidates in the most cost effective manner. It is also ADP policy to retain its staff through ongoing training, development and promotion.
There is a strict clinical selection process including interview on occasions by the Clinical Director followed by a three month New Starter Induction Programme. This training is essential for all new staff members to ensure good working relationships and provide the full support needed for roles to be carried out effectively.
Our teams are recruited to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and good practice:
- All Dentists are GDC registered.
- All Nurses are both qualified and registered with the GDC or on a recognised training course.
- Practice Managers have previous experience of Practice management.
- All members of staff receive a minimum of 5 hours verifiable Continuous Development Training (CPD). CPD courses are available to nurses and Dentists out of surgery hours in order for them to meet GDC CPD requirements.
- In some practices there may be the requirement for Vocational Training (VT) equivalence and ADP works with the PCT’s in the VT equivalence programme for Foreign Dentists and the provision of experienced Dentists as trainers.
