TREATMENT FAQS

Do ADP Dentists offer NHS treatments?

Most ADP practices welcome NHS patients and offer emergency treatment for registered patients. For details see your local practice.

Who do I need to contact to register at my local practice?

Contact your local practice directly and ask to be registered.

Contact details are at the bottom of the practice profile page which will also tell you what sort of treatments are available at each location.

Are we good value for money?

If it is NHS work, you will pay the set charge. When it comes to private work, we are highly competitive. Our dentists will inform you of the cost of treatment and will provide a total treatment plan for you. Our private prices are available in all practices

How do I pay?

Both NHS and private fees are payable as treatment progresses, although for some treatments payment will be required in advance of the treatment being carried out. The balance must be payed by the end of the treatment. We accept cash and credit/debit cards.

If I miss an appointment?

If you cancel an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice. A broken commitment or failure to attend a private appointment may result in a charge being incurred. Under the new NHS system you will not incur a charge for missed appointments, however you may be de-registered from the practice should you fail to attend.

Patients often have similar questions regarding specific dental treatments. All our surgeries have copies of explanatory leaflets.
