  OUR PRACTICE QUALITY POLICY

ADP works with PCTs to deliver high quality, innovative dental services, in line with the oral needs of the local population

ADP ensures its practices comply with “Better Standards for Health”, BDA Good Practice scheme guidelines and the NHS Clinical Governance Toolkit.

ADP operates a comprehensive Clinical Governance Framework entitled “Putting Patients First” and audits practices annually and all clinicians every 6 months.

ADP ensures all its practices have a continued commitment to NHS dentistry along with a sustained improvement in the quality of service, patient care and practice management.

All ADP Practices are equipped to a high standard with experienced staff and a strong management team. ADP is focused on delivering a consistently high standard of patient care.

ADP provides accessibility and timeliness of service to all patients seeking oral health care and ensures equity and consistency of provision

ADP delivers “mandatory services” that are appropriate, efficient and clinically cost effective

In addition:

ADP develops services in line with the PCTs Dental Commissioning Plan and the Department of Health programme “Delivering Better Oral Health” and addresses inequalities in access to care and oral health experience

ADP provides high quality general dental services that meets the specific needs of diverse groups where appropriate

ADP establishes a positive working relationship with PCTs and providers to facilitate and maximise service delivery

ADP meets regularly with PCTs for contract monitoring

ADP has contingency arrangements in place at all its practices in the event of unplanned leave (eg sickness), equipment failure and major incidents

ADP ensures all its practices performance is measured and audited regularly through its own “in house” processes in addition to those required by the PCT

ADP is an NHS provider and PCTs can be assured of NHS commitment.
