ADP believes in offering you a full range of services and has arranged for a variety of Implant and Specialist services to be available under private contract.
ADP specialists accept referrals from other dentists and directly from the public. Each practice will be able to advise you of the nearest specialists services to meet your needs.
Dental Implants
Dental Implants are scientifically proven to be the best alternative for missing teeth in suitable patients. (95% success at 10 years). The provision of dental implants in the UK is under private contract except for the restoration of severe cancer cases in specialist NHS hospital surgical units and teaching hospitals. Most patients are unaware of the existence and benefits of dental implants and an informative leaflet is available. Orthodontics
Since the new NHS became operative in April 2006, NHS orthodontic services are rationed to specific degrees of overcrowding. Many practices have excessive waiting lists and unmet demand. At ADP we believe that you should have the choice to access a cost-effective private alternative and we have developed the ADP Orthodontic plan. For a monthly payment of less than £70 we will ensure that you or your children can access orthodontic services when you need them under private arrangements. Please ask your dentist or Practice Manager for details.
Oral Surgery
Many patients have to wait excessive time to access NHS Secondary Care surgical services. At ADP we believe you should have the choice of a private surgical service at a time convenient to you. Surgical Services include the removal of wisdom teeth, cysts and buried roots; bone grafting, apisectomies and biopsies. Sedation is also available. If you are referred to an NHS hospital, you will be offered a private alternative. General anaesthetic treatments cannot be provided in ADP dental practices and must be provided at a suitable equipped and trained hospital.
Periodontics
Periodontics is the science of gum disease. ADP has limited access to private specialist periodontic services at a number of our practices. Services include comprehensive periodontal management, gum surgery, crown lengthening and gingival repositioning and grafting. Please ask your dentist or Practice Manager for details.
All private specialist services are available on Interest Free or extended credit terms.
